Dear Precinct 2 family,
The Precinct 2 Public Works Department is geared up for the rain and freezing temperatures expected over the next couple of days.
In preparation, Precinct 2 will temporarily shut off water to the following parks beginning tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon:
- Pep Mueller
- Crowley
- Atascocita
- James Driver
- Riley Chambers
- IT May
- Crosby Park
- Crosby Sports Complex
- Baytown Soccer Complex
The parks will remain open, however, the bathrooms will be closed. We hope to have water restored at these locations by Friday afternoon.
I want to ensure that you are prepared and taking all the necessary precautions as well. We have a variety of resources and tips for you below to keep you and your loved ones safe. Remember the 4 Ps of cold weather safety: people, plants, pets, and pipes.
